Pocky Cheng

 

He was threatened at bayonet point to show the way, if not he will die! He led them to the

sandal workshops in the village and the Japs had destroyed every one of them and had 

bayoneted any one in the workshop. Pocky Cheng felt remorseful.

 

The remorse had turned into regrets when he discovered to his horror that the Japs had not

only slaughtered those in the workshops but also his wife and his children. He thought of

commiting suicide but was stopped by a teenage boy who happened to pass by.

 

He decided to join the Jiao Gao Regiment instead.
