An Author's Works
The page from whence you came, which is meant to be a page taken off my notebook, would obviously qualify as a part of my entire work that this web comprises. However, as Foucault would say, it is a much more trying task to put such boundaries around the notion of an author's works. What would we include that might qualify as a work? His novels, letters, memos, drafts? Should we even include his laundy lists in the definition, since they too have been created and written by the author himself...
