Sometimes I worked a night shift as a watchman for the warehouse at a trucking a company. My co-worker, a semi-senile man, was half-witted. All he cared about was weather. All day, he opened his window every five minutes to check the temperature and reported to me as if it was the gravest matter in the whole world.

"A breeze, son. A cool breeze is coming."
