Menagerie

As you find your way through a number of twisting hallways from the geology room, a different scent altogether makes itself known: the primal stink of animalia. Entering the menagerie, you are greeted by parrots and peacocks of every imaginable color tilting their feathers to catch the light, dim as it is, while primates (some hardly the size of a human hand) scurry hither and thither and a vast albino snake sheds the vestiges of its skin. The center of the space features a standalone cage, behind whose steely bars a magnificent tiger paces restlessly.
