Late bloomer.

Does that mean she'll bloom someday? Does that mean her petals will unfold someday, one by one, a self-peeling onion, exposing her to the world? What about girls who don't want to be flowers, girls who spent their childhood playing with legos and computers and choosing to be the knight, not the princess?
