Lean In

Marcello Sachs '10, English 65, The Cyborg Self, Brown University (Fall 2006)

You walk closer to the counter, seeming as though you are heading to the other part of the store. However, as you approach the customer and the pharmaceutical assistant, they quickly hush. Something must be going on here. In addition, you notice the pharmaceutical assistant immediately grab a large wad of cash from on top of the counter and hold it out of sight. Also, he is holding his clipboard unusually high, making it so that anyone except for him would be unable to read it. Illegal drugs? Do they sell illegal drugs at a pharmacy, only more covertly than they do legal drugs? Are you simply being paranoid in order to generate some kind of excitement in this undead town? Whatever.

You head back over to the eye care aisle, grabbing two boxes of the brand you use.
