Battle (9)

Jomo Fray '10, English 65, The Cyborg Self, Brown University (Fall 2006)

You start marching toward the gates of Singjo, but tell your men to lean on their staffs. You take repeated breaks as you march. You then set up camp outside the city, and allow your enemy to have a good vantage of your encampment. The enemy will believe this to be an advantage and try to grasp it while they can. Yet your army remains ever vigilant. The enemy takes the bait and charges your encampment. With this you break the facade and attack the Lei troops with full strength! Riding with the Lei is their commander and general Lo Lefang. Your troops continue to make a show of the battle and defend themselves. You must give your strike team enough time to eliminate Lo Lefang. Your men move back as if getting pushed back, but only do so to continue to trick the Lei army into a false sense of security. You troops now try to pierce through the Lei infantry to try and reach Lo Lefang in the center. The Lei army throws men infront of the onslaught in attempts to save Lefang. Despite their efforts, your strike team runs in the heat of battle from behind and assassinates Lo Lefang! The battle stops, the soldiers stop fighting, without their ruler; they have no reason to continue. The battle is won and Lei is no more! Your campaign was successful.
