The first time I saw him was on my way to Hapsburg. I saw his slender body bent over across the aisle, his back heaving, his breathe forced, as the contents of his meal found themselves at the bottom of a sterile plastic bag.

Long legs swathed in a short blue skirt momentarily blocked my vision. I saw her leaning over him, her breasts at his eye level, barely constrained by her polyester uniform.

He didn't glance in her direction, keeping his hidden. She finally left after numersou inqueries and offers of medicine, food or drink. He looked up fearfully to make sure she had gone. Our eyes met. A blush stole across his face.
I didn't tell him then that he still had a bit of droll on the side of his lip
