Solidarity and affinity instead of the traditional feminist strategy of 'sisterhood' have a prevalence in Sandoval's theory of differential movement, exactly because they emphasise partiality. Affinity makes possible community across differences, and thus allows for a new kind of citizenship and an insertion of the concept of hospitality into net-communities.
