what is this project?
The next group of pages in this document contain Michelle Neuringer's English 111 midterm assignment. In it she argues for a manner of writing which benefits from an awareness of some concepts essential to object-oriented programming. Her argument is accompanied by some references to literary theory and also includes a look into the design and implementation of the computer game, Tetris.
This project was written originally in and for the Storyspace writing environment. Some lexias were omitted from the HTML version. Much clarification of concepts has been done since the Storyspace version was submitted. The author prefers this version to the original.
The Storyspace version is largely unfocused because it was not written in an object-oriented, programming-conscious manner.
