George P. Landow

George P. Landow is Professor of English and Art History, Brown University, and Shaw Professor of English and Digital Culture at the National University of Singapore.

He is an VIP in hypertext and digital culture domain. In one of his book "Hypertext 2.0 Hypertext: The Convergence of Contemporary Critical Theory and Technology", he defines hypertext as "the use of the computer to transcend the linear, bounded and fixed qualities of the traditional written text".

Prof. Landow is also my teacher for the module "Advanced Topics in Media" at National University of Singapore, where he is a Shaw professor in School of Computing.
