It took me along time to find a happy medium between my religion and my sexuality. In fact, I never really found a medium, I don't know if it's possible. I mean how can someone really follow a religion that tells them the feelings that they can't control -- feelings so rudimentary to life that they rise out of the groin -- how can they tell me these feelings are worse than the ones that they are having that are rising out of the same place. They couldn't tell me that, so I stopped listening.
