-assignment-

We had to start thinking about a new assignment - a fashion spread for the next issue. My colleagues and I were discussing it in the office and we both agreed it would be interesting to use the renovated restored shophouses as the setting for the photo shoot. The beauty editor talked about exploiting the current weather for the concept of the spread. Sheen and gloss. Bronze bodies. Bare skin.

So we set about looking for our models. In our bed, I asked Paul for his opinion. Carelessly, he looked over the stack of composite cards and finally picked one out. "This one looks like your typical bronze Adonis," he said. He picked another card out from the female stack. "She reminds me of Giselle Bundchen," he said.

I looked over his choices and I decided that his male choice was appropriate. The name printed on the composite card was Marc. There was no surname.
