The Kitchen

The kitchen seems hardly large enough to produce the sort of catering demanded in the dining room, but somehow manages. Its secret is in its functionality; while the rest of the mansion luxuriates in its floorspace and seemingly artless interior design, the kitchen is a mass of cupboards, shelves, and appliances that manages to put everything a potential gourmet would need at arm's length and yet staves off entropy by somehow avoiding clutter. A swinging door, convenient for one carrying large quantities of comestibles, leads back into the dining room, and a small staircase leads down into a well-stocked cellar.
