skin and clothes enclose our selves
rooms, fences, and walls enclose our landscapes
the atmosphere encloses our earth
she is a being as well, our earth -
our the living earth, gaia, is also bound
by the whole universe
by time
but boundaries allow for connections:
pores, windows, gates, doors
checkpoints to determine what stays in
and what stays out
networks override boundaries:
internet and telephone
override boundaries of self,
water pipes and power lines
override boundaries of buildings, cities
and in this time connectivity defines us
