Battle (4)

Jomo Fray '10, English 65, The Cyborg Self, Brown University (Fall 2006)

To lure the enemy into battle you use guerrilla tactics. With the Le battalion over the ridge, you ambush their army. The battle is a slaughter. No Le soldiers survive the onslaught. The Le soldiers arrived into a controlled battleground, with you in control. Defeat was an impossibility. Your casualties are very low with only few wounded. Many soldiers in your army have no doubt about your commanding ability! Moral is raised and the soldiers remain very loyal to you.

"It is an advantage to choose the time and the place for battle.
In this way you know when and where the battle will take place,
while your enemy does not. Encourage your enemy to expend his
energy in futile quests while you conserve your strength. When he
is exhausted and confused, you attack with energy and purpose.
