I remember. Standing in the backyard beside a fiery grill, I saw your car sail down the block and turn around in a neighbor's driveway and as you scraped my car pulling into a parking space, I knew you were the one for me. Flying hair, you jumped from the car --- apologies in the air --- but you smiled ignoring everything. I just grinned, as any good lover should, and tended the grill.
