Literature is difficult to define, exactly. So how 'bout you just go read about trash. Literature is the opposite of trash. Sort of. Literature doesn't have to be difficult to read, it doesn't need flowerly language or a complicated narrative style.

Perhaps the emphasis in literature is often more heavily geared towards character-developlment, not plot-development. Or perhaps literature focuses on the telling of the story, and not simply the story itself. In any case, this is all a waste of time anyway: you know the difference between literature and trash. Get back to the point.
